What the Role Involves
1. Design Preparation
You’ll handle the technical setup of files for printing, adjusting layouts to suit flexo machine specs.
- Create print-ready files
- Add bleed, crop marks, trapping
- Modify customer designs as needed
- Prepare artwork for different substrates
- Ensure layout precision for production
- File setup using industry formats (PDF, AI, EPS)
- Template creation and adaptation

2. Color Management
Managing how color translates on press is critical. Your job includes ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Calibrate CMYK output
- Handle spot and Pantone colors
- Adjust contrast and sharpness
- Prevent color shifting

3. Prepress Optimization
Before the job goes to print, files need to be optimized to avoid delays or quality issues.
