Job Role: What You’ll Be Doing

This is a site-based leadership role. You’ll be supervising electricians, ensuring quality and safety, and keeping the workflow smooth.

  • Lead, train, and supervise electricians on site
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local codes
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints and specs
  • Plan, schedule, and assign daily tasks
  • Handle material ordering and inventory
  • Troubleshoot and fix electrical issues quickly
  • Maintain clear work records and job logs
  • Coordinate with clients, managers, and other trades
  • Enforce all safety protocols on site

Qualifications Needed

This isn’t an entry-level job. You need a proven track record and technical strength.

  • Valid Journeyman Electrician License
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an electrician
  • At least 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of electrical design, installation, and maintenance
  • Confident reading technical drawings and wiring layouts
  • Skilled in team leadership and on-site problem solving
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
