As the manager in charge, your role is pivotal in steering the company’s success. You’ll handle crucial tasks like managing project and financial reports, ensuring they reach senior management and the parent company on time. Contributing to the company’s future, you’ll actively participate in shaping a five-year strategic plan. Working alongside department managers, your responsibility extends to developing annual program budgets and setting up controls for financial systems. Your analytical skills will come to the forefront as you analyze reports, propose budget adjustments, and suggest ways for cost optimization. Supporting project accounts, training new employees, and ensuring billing compliance all fall under your dynamic responsibilities. Additionally, you’ll keep documents secure and play a key role in special projects as needed.
Knowledge and Skills
- Previous experience with automated accounting systems is preferred.
- Previous experience working on defence-related contracts or subcontract operations is preferred; for the UAE Military is an advantage.
- A firm understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Accounting Standards (IAS), and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is required.
